Solution Solvers: Building and Coding Robots to Solve Classroom Challenges is a dynamic, 10-lesson, project-based STEM curriculum designed for grades 2–3 that combines robotics, coding, problem-solving, innovation, and engineering design in a screen-free learning experience.

This unit requires students to work collaboratively to solve real-world challenges experienced in classrooms nationwide. Teams will:

  • Build a Robotic Test Car
  • Learn the basics of coding
  • Use a robotic test car to complete coding tasks
  • Build a Robotic Classroom Helper
  • Design and build a Collection Container
  • Use engineering notebooks to document their ideas, create diagrams, and apply technical language to communicate their thinking
  • Prepare a presentation to showcase the team’s solution
  • Present their solution to strengthen their presentation and communication skills
